Nepal’s 2020 monsoon season has brought floods and landslides to several districts. As well as causing loss of life, these natural disasters have also damaged homes and severely impacted the livelihoods of many communities.
Thanks to your support our partners are responding to help over 4,400 of the most vulnerable people across 8 districts.

INF Nepal delivering tin sheets for temporary shelters in Myagdi
INF Nepal is providing food, hygiene kits and shelter to families who have been bereaved or lost their homes. Help is being given to more then 1,200 people across Kalikot and several other districts including Lamjung, Myagdi and Jajarkot.
Asal Chhimekee Nepal is helping communities affected by landslides in Myagdi and floods in Nawalparasi (see photo above). Their initial project includes food packages for more then 2,000 people, as well as providing temporary shelter to 150 families who had to move out of at-risk homes in Myagdi.
INF Nepal is also helping about 400 people in Baglung who have been affected by a flood in September. Vital food items such as rice and lentils, as well as tarpaulin covers, are being supplied.
